Viewpoint above Schmilka with far-reaching views over the Elbe valley - hidden but easily accessible.
The Kleine Bastei near Schmilka is located at around 275 meters above the Elbe valley and offers a wonderful view of the Elbe valley towards Bad Schandau. The point is particularly popular in the summer evening hours when the sun is reflected in the Elbe.
The viewpoint can be reached in around 20 minutes from Schmilka by climbing.
The Kleine Bastei is located in the Saxon Switzerland National Park and is somewhat off the beaten track.
