#1 Bastei Bridge
The Bastei Bridge is the landmark of Saxon Switzerland and our "little, Chinese wall". Enjoy the view and explore the various vantage points.

The Malerweg: 116 wonderful kilometers in the footsteps of artists like Caspar David Friedrich. There are eight stages. You should try at least one. And who knows where that will lead.

The Elbe Cycle Route stretches over 1,200 kilometers, and the section in the Saxon Switzerland is certainly among the most scenic. Additionally, it is hardly hilly and nicely paved. Our tip: Roll leisurely from Schmilka to Pirna.

An open-air theater in the middle of the national park is our Felsenbühne Rathen. Musicals, fairy tales, or grand opera - there is something for every taste.
#6 Königstein Fortress
Of course, there is an elevator that leads to the fortress plateau. However, those who wish to experience Königstein in its original form should conquer it on foot through the dark Appareille.
#7 Kirnitzschtalbahn
Even Kate Winslet has traveled with it: our Kirnitzschtalbahn. Our tip: Combine a leisurely ride to the Lichtenhain Waterfall with a hike to the Kuhstall and later chug back to Bad Schandau by train.

In Venice, you glide through narrow house-lined canals; in the Upper Lock, you will be gently poled along moss-covered rock walls and through a wonderfully green environment. This is pure relaxation.
