We love our natural environment and therefore want to help preserve the unique natural and cultural landscape of Saxon Switzerland for the long term, together with our partner businesses and guests. Saxon Switzerland has been certified as a “Sustainable Destination” by TourCert since 2021. The certification is reviewed and renewed every three years; the next recertification is scheduled for October 2027.
During their stay, our guests can discover the region in a variety of ways: the mobile guest card provides convenient travel by bus, train and ferry throughout the region; certified national park guides offer opportunities to explore the distinctive features of the national park’s core zone and roam its rocky landscape; and savouring a regional dish reveals the hosts’ deep connection to their homeland.
