The 60km long stage two takes you from Bad Schandau through the Saxon Switzerland and parts of the Upper Lusatia to Sohland/Spree.

After leaving Bad Schandau and the Elbe valley, you go right into the picturesque picture-book landscape of the Saxon Switzerland National Park region. Along exciting and sometimes narrow paths, you finally reach Sohland an der Spree, which lies in the middle of the Upper Lusatian mountain range. Besides the Zittau Mountains Nature Park, the mountain range is also known for its traditional half-timbered houses with wrap-around galleries. From now on, look out for the partly wonderfully designed houses.
