Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
- Rock it: A detour to the Nikolsdorfer Wände provides a pure Elbe sandstone feeling. The Leupoldishain forest adventure centre opposite is also worth a visit, not only for the adventure stations in the outdoor area, but also for the panoramic view of Königstein Fortress and the Lilienstein.
Safety guidelines
Several forest maintenance works are currently taking place between Rosenthal and the Elbe. As a result, there are alternating reroutings on the yellow section.
