The start of the twelve-kilometer-long circular route is the historic marketplace in Dohna. From here, it goes uphill to Gut Gamig, a former knight's estate, now a rehabilitation and meeting place with its own farm shop. The route leads via Röhrsdorf through apple orchards further to the Lugturm, whose beer garden invites you to rest on weekends. From here, the view on a clear day reaches to the table mountains of Saxon Switzerland and into the Elbe valley towards Dresden. The return path to Dohna again runs through an apple orchard.
