Hinterland Hostel

The location directly on the Elbe bicycle path in the spa town of Rathen makes the hostel the perfect starting point to explore the region in all directions. On the grounds of a former farm, backpackers, groups of friends, and young families can soon relax, play, or discuss – until the evening ends with a cozy round by the campfire.

On the grounds of a former farm, there is a residential house and a spacious barn. The house is planned to have about 27 beds, divided into double or quadruple rooms, a family suite with its own kitchen and bathroom, or the dormitory.
The barn invites you to linger with a generous lounge area, kitchenette, and comfortable reading nook. Additionally, a simple workshop and seminar room will be available for groups. The property will feature a tent meadow, a campfire area, and cozy seating areas. There is also plenty of space for further ideas such as a farm café, a clay oven, chickens, slacklines, bouldering wall, ping pong table, mini ramp, volleyball court...
