Ferienwohnungen "Bildhauer Thiele"

Warm welcome! The half-timbered house built around 1800 was last owned by the Dresden artist and sculptor Hans Joachim Thiele, which is why the holiday home now bears his name.
There are three separate holiday apartments in the holiday home, all named after works of Thiele.

The building, which was last used as a weekend house, was fundamentally renovated and modernized with funding (LEADER) from 2017 to 2019. Particular emphasis was placed on preserving the old building fabric, so that, among other things, the current windows correspond to those from the construction period or the old sandstone was restored to its former glory. However, the demands of modern living were also taken into account. The house features modern underfloor and wall heating, which is supplied by an air heat pump. The electricity generated by the photovoltaic system is used to support the hot water production.

So that you feel comfortable even on vacation, the high-quality interior was carefully selected with great attention to detail and coordinated. But see for yourself the charm of the holiday house and spend a few days of relaxation with us. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests here.

The holiday house is located in the national park community of Ottendorf, and it is only about 400 m on foot to the boundary of the national park. Especially the region of the beautiful Hintere Sächsische Schweiz and the dreamlike Kirnitzschtal invite you to extensive hiking tours. You can start your hikes directly from the holiday home. Discover the strictly protected nature a little off the visitor hotspots along the Elbe.

A dog is only allowed in the "Jäger mit Hund" and "Ritter Dutschmann" apartments for a one-time additional fee of €35.00 per stay.
