In the heart of Saxon Switzerland, the world's largest garden railway layout presents the railroad landscape of the Upper Elbe with 4.6 km of miniature tracks.

The railroad worlds showcase a lovingly designed miniature world with around 4,600 m of track on over 7,300 m². Numerous trains run simultaneously on several levels, past true-to-scale buildings, bridges and landscapes - including well-known sights of the region.

The layout features detailed replicas of railroad stations, industrial plants and villages. Visitors experience technology and model making at the highest level - from the rolling steam locomotive to the mountain landscape with functioning cable cars. The experience is complemented by an exhibition on railroad history and a bistro with a view of the facility.

The paths through the facility are barrier-free.

Last admission is 5 p.m., after which the trains move to the indoor depots and the train service is continuously reduced.
