The route leads from Goßdorf-Kohlmühle through the Sebnitz valley to the Goßdorf robber castle and from there further through the beautiful Schwarzbachtal to Lohsdorf. From Lohsdorf, it goes over the old Bohemian Glass Road to Hohnstein to Hohnstein Castle. After that, it continues through the Polenztal over the Hockstein to Rathen.
The route is classified as moderate difficulty since the paths are partly unpaved and there are some steep climbs to conquer—first and foremost to the Goßdorf robber castle and up to the Hockstein.

Directions
The route starts at the Goßdorf-Kohlmühle stop in the Sebnitz valley and follows the yellow mark from there into the Schwarzbachtal to the Goßdorf robber castle.
After a short detour up the hill to the ruin of the robber castle, it continues along the blue dot through the Schwarzbachtal to Lohsdorf station. The route follows the original course of the narrow-gauge railway that once ran through the valley to Hohnstein.
From Lohsdorf station, you initially follow the street through the village and then continue towards Ehrenberg, until a stone signpost at a crossroads points to Hohnstein.
At the entrance to Hohnstein – at the Sachsenbergsiedlung – keep slightly to the left and follow a path along the field, which then passes through a small garden plot area.
At the next street, walk a short distance to the right and then immediately leave the street to the left onto a path that was also formerly used by the narrow-gauge railway. Then walk through Hohnstein along Alte Brandstraße and past the town hall up to Hohnstein Castle.
After visiting the castle, walk back a short distance to the town hall and then follow the blue mark through the Schindergraben into the Polenztal and from there up to the Hockstein.
On the way up the Hockstein through the Wolfsschlucht, a short detour around the corner to the Hockstein cave is recommended.
From the Hockstein, follow the green mark to the Amselsee and from there to Rathen, where you cross the Elbe with the help of a ferry and the route ends at the station.
