Adamsberg view

Viewpoint/viewing tower
The Adamsberg near Altendorf offers a rewarding view over the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and invites you to take a relaxing walk at a moderate altitude.
The Adamsberg is located above the Altendorf district of Sebnitz on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. At around 410 meters high, it is a popular vantage point with sweeping views over the rocky landscape as far as Königstein Fortress and the Lilienstein.

Its summit consists of volcanic rock. The ascent is short, easily accessible and also possible with a baby carriage. Once at the top, there is an open, quiet area with a panoramic view.

The Adamsberg can be easily integrated into a hike on the Panorama Trail or as a complementary detour to the Malerweg. The nearby Dorfbachklamm gorge can also be combined as a further destination.
Also worthwhile in winter.

Yellow building with large windows and a brown door, a letterbox next to it; sunny atmosphere with flowering shrubs in the foreground.
