Directions
The route starts at the Goßdorf-Kohlmühle stop in the Sebnitz valley and initially follows the yellow marker towards the Schwarzbach valley to the Goßdorf robber castle. After visiting the ruin, for which you have to climb a steep hill, it continues from there along a ridge above to Goßdorf to the so-called Hankehübel.
From Hankehübel it then goes through Goßdorf along the street to the Goßdorf outdoor pool, which you reach by going left behind the fountain in the town center up Bergstraße.
From the outdoor pool, you then follow the blue marker towards Schulweg, which takes you directly to Waitzdorf.
In Waitzdorf, it is recommended to take a short detour on the Malerweg to a beautiful viewpoint such as the Waitzdorf viewpoint. Then you walk a little further into the village and follow the red marker through the Dorfgrund into the Tiefen Grund.
Upon arriving in the Tiefen Grund, keep to the left initially and follow the street a little, then cross the Waitzdorf stream and continue along a lovely path with small bridges through the Tiefen Grund.
At the end of the Tiefen Grund, keep left again and follow the blue marker to Porschdorf station, where the route ends.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
Sturdy footwear and some provisions - especially drinks on hot days - are recommended, as the paths are partly unpaved and there is only one place to stop after about 7.5 kilometers in Waitzdorf.
