Circular hike with nature trail Graupa

The route starts directly at Tschaikowskiplatz in Graupa. If you have time, you should definitely plan a visit to the Richard Wagner sites either at the beginning or the end of the route. The interactive exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of the musician. The Richard Wagner cultural trail is laid out in the park. From the castle, continue on Badstraße past the old Borsbergbad, which is now a biotope. Then turn right. Continue along the Graupaer Bach for a stretch. There is a green classroom there. Continue on the Großgraupaer Kirchsteig up to the Old Waterhouse. A beautiful picnic spot with a view awaits you there. Then continue along the Leitenweg. Here you will find many informative boards with explanations, e.g., on dry stone walls, dry valleys, and pine mistletoe. To finish, go downhill from Rysselkuppe along the "Saxon Wine Route" along a hardly used road to the village square in Graupa before returning to the starting point of the route, Tschaikowskiplatz.
