Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

The tour can be shortened in Glashütte: simply hop on the Müglitztalbahn. You could then continue the tour in Burkhardswalde-Maxen, Weesenstein or Köttewitz, for example.

A visit to the clock museum in Glashütte is also worthwhile.

Safety guidelines

There are few opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way - so sufficient food is essential.
