Ungerberg
The Ungerberg near Neustadt in Saxony is 538 meters high. A 30-meter-high observation tower offers a panoramic view. The 360-degree panorama extends over Hohwald, Saxon Switzerland, the Ore Mountains, the Lusatian Mountains, the Zittau Mountains and, on a clear day, even as far as the Iser and Giant Mountains.
There is a mountain inn at the summit of the Unger, which is open all year round. It offers simple, lovingly furnished rooms and regional cuisine.
Over the course of the year, events are held regularly - including mulled wine evenings, musical programs, New Year's Eve celebrations or traditional menus such as the St. Martin's goose dinner.
