Access is via natural paths that lead through mixed forest and rocky terrain. The ascent is stony in places and requires surefootedness.
From the summit, the view opens up over the Kirnitzschtal valley, the ridges of the Großer Zschand and neighboring rock formations. The location is part of a branching network of paths.
