Viewpoint on the Reitsteig with sweeping views over the rocks of the Großer Zschand to Bohemian Switzerland.
The viewpoint is located directly on well-marked hiking trails, e.g. the Malerweg. The surrounding area is characterized by forest, gorges and rocks, which define the landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
The paths to the Goldstein viewpoint are mostly natural and easy to walk on. They are not technically difficult, but do require surefootedness in places.
The view is freely accessible all year round and is a good stop-off point on hikes through the Großer Zschand.
