A historic resting place in the forest near the Bastei with a sandstone table, inscriptions and hunting history.
The Stone Table is located near the Bastei and is part of the protected area of the Saxon Switzerland National Park.

In 1710, this resting place was set up for the "distinguished persons" of an electoral hunt. Numerous letters are engraved on the edge of the table. They are supposedly the initials of the hunting guests present. This is described in the travel guide by W. L. Götzinger from the year 1804. Folklore has it that Augustus the Strong held a hunting breakfast here.

A forest restaurant with regional cuisine is located right next to it.
