Hinterhermsdorf Forest Workers' Parlor & Local History Museum

Museum/art collection
Museum in the Umgebindehaus with original living room and exhibition on the history of the village.

The Hinterhermsdorf forest workers' parlour shows the life of a forest workers' family around 1900. The originally furnished parlour is located in a typical regional half-timbered house. Visitors can gain an insight into everyday life as it was common in the region over 100 years ago.

There is also a small exhibition on the history of the village. Topics include the development of the village, crafts and the role of forestry. Plants that used to grow in the gardens of the region grow in the adjoining garden.
