The Kipphorn viewpoint is located high above the Elbe valley near the Großer Winterberg and offers a spectacular panorama of and across the Elbe.
The Kipphorn viewpoint is located in the middle of the Saxon Switzerland National Park at an altitude of around 470 meters on the south side of the Großer Winterberg, above Schmilka.
The view here extends over the Elbe valley to the left Elbe table mountains and the Hoher Schneeberg, as well as to the right Elbe over the rocks of the Schmilka basin to the Schrammstein massif.
The paths to the viewpoint are natural but easy to walk on.
