Viewpoint with a direct view of the stone Bastei Bridge and the surrounding rocky panorama.
The Ferdinandaussicht is located on the Ferdinandstein, just a few meters before the Bastei Bridge. From here, a striking line of sight opens up to the building and the rocky landscape of the national park. The combination of natural form and historical architecture makes the point particularly impressive.
The viewpoint is one of the most famous in the area and is in great demand for photography. Particularly in the morning, atmospheric lighting conditions are created when the rising sun illuminates the bridge. Access is via a short branch near the bridge and can be reached via a few steps.
The site is not large and is located slightly off the main path.
