Passenger ferry between Schmilka Ort and Hirschmühle stop

The passenger ferry connects the Bad Schandau district of Schmilka with the opposite side of the Elbe, where the Schmilka Hirschmühle S-Bahn stop is located. The ferry is also an important crossing point for cyclists on the Elbe cycle path, as the route on the right bank of the Elbe ends on the Schmilka side. Hikers on the Malerweg cross over here to start the 6th stage.

On the Elbe ferries, all tickets according to the VVO tariff (except the 4-trip short-distance ticket) and the Deutschlandticket are recognized, provided they are valid in terms of area and time.

The Saxon Switzerland mobile guest card is also valid as a ticket on the ferry.

Adult price, one-way crossing: € 2.00

Information on reduced prices: Children from 6 up to and including 14 years of age can take advantage of the reduced fares. Children under the age of 6 and severely disabled persons according to SGB IX are transported free of charge.
