Devil's Gorge
The Teufelsschlucht is somewhat hidden away in the forest north of Stadt Wehlen. Narrow trails wind upward between high rock walls, past tree roots, boulders, and natural passages. Those who hike here are immersed in a quiet, green world—pleasantly cool and surrounded by dense vegetation.
Along the way, small discoveries await, such as the Teufelskammer or the Heringshöhle.
The trail is narrow but easy to walk on. On damp days, it can be slippery, so sure-footedness is helpful. This loop can be easily combined with the Uttewalder Grund or a hike to Wehlen.
