The Devil's Gorge is somewhat hidden in the forest north of Stadt Wehlen. Narrow paths lead uphill between high rock faces, past roots, boulders and natural passages. Those who walk here are immersed in a quiet, green world - pleasantly cool and surrounded by dense vegetation.
Small discoveries await along the way, such as the Devil's Chamber or the Herring Cave.
The path is narrow, but easy to walk on. It can be slippery on wet days, so surefootedness is helpful. The tour can be easily combined with the Uttewalder Grund or a tour to Wehlen.
Openings
- The Teufelsschlüchte are in principle always open.
