Burglehnpfad views

Viewpoint/viewing tower
Several vantage points along the Pirna Castle Leaning Path offer unobstructed views over the Elbe valley and the old town.

The Burglehnpfad runs along the slope above the right bank of the Elbe and connects several striking viewpoints over a short distance. The view extends over the rooftops of Pirna, the towers of St. Mary's Church and the winding course of the Elbe.

The location at the transition from the urban area to the vineyards of the Elbe Valley also marks the beginning of the wine-growing region of Saxony. The first vineyards along the trail provide an insight into a centuries-old cultural landscape.

All viewpoints are easily accessible. The path is paved, mostly flat and equipped with benches.
