Upon arrival, in many places you will receive a Sächsische Schweiz guest card from your host. We differentiate between two variants.

The Sächsische Schweiz Guest Card mobile can be obtained as an overnight guest in the following locations:  
Bad Gottleuba-Berggießhübel | Bad Schandau | Gohrisch | Hohnstein | Königstein | Lohmen | Rathmannsdorf | Pirna | Rosenthal-Bielatal | Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna | Sebnitz | Stadt Wehlen | Struppen

The Sächsische Schweiz Guest Card can be obtained as an overnight guest in the following locations:
Kurort Rathen 

Benefits
The guest card is, among other things, a discount card, allowing guests to receive discounts in numerous establishments. It cannot be purchased and represents a service provided by the participating hosts and leisure facilities.

Guests can take advantage of the benefits granted by partners during regular opening hours with a valid Sächsische Schweiz Guest Card or Sächsische Schweiz mobile guest card. Guests are free to use these multiple times. The discounts from service partners may not necessarily be combined with other offers or discounts and are only valid as indicated. 

The respective terms and conditions, transportation terms, or other service conditions of the participating leisure facilities and partners apply for claiming the discounted services.

Participating service partners may restrict the availability of discounted services entirely or partially due to weather conditions, maintenance work, repairs, or other important reasons. No replacement claims can be made. Rebates cannot be paid out.
All discount partners are listed online in the overview of guest card benefits or in the latest edition of the "Sächsische Schweiz Experiences" brochure. 

Guest Card mobile
Overnight guests in the participating locations (see above) receive the Sächsische Schweiz mobile guest card. In addition to discounts in the region's leisure facilities, it serves as a ticket for the use of buses, trains, and most ferries from the day of arrival until the day of departure in the VVO tariff zones Pirna (70), Bad Gottleuba (71), Bad Schandau (72), and Neustadt (73) for any number of trips and as a ticket on the Kirnitzschtalbahn and the cross-border Tisá line 217.

Excluded are special transport services, such as the hiking ship, passenger shipping on the Elbe, the ferry in Kurort Rathen, the Bad Schandau-Ostrau elevator, and private bus services. For trips beyond the valid tariff zones of the Sächsische Schweiz, such as to Dresden or the Bohemian Switzerland, a connecting ticket must be purchased. The Sächsische Schweiz mobile guest card is only valid for passenger transportation. Additional tickets are required for the transport of dogs and bicycles.

Guests who pay a flat-rate annual guest tax (e.g., long-term campers) and patients in spa and rehabilitation clinics do not receive a Sächsische Schweiz mobile guest card. 

The transport conditions and tariff regulations of the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe apply. The transportation service is offered in the name and on the account of the transport companies within the VVO. Our partners for transportation services within the framework of the  mobile guest card  are the transport companies in Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe.

Visual Inspection
By simply presenting a valid guest card/guest card mobile before claiming the service from the service partner or upon boarding and requesting in the transport medium, the declared advantage can be utilized. The guest card/guest card mobile is valid for the duration of stay indicated on the card (including arrival and departure day).

The guest card must be issued on the designated templates (manual registration certificate or print template) and is only valid if completely filled out. Name, first name, arrival and departure date, and, if applicable, the number of persons must be clearly and legibly entered in the designated fields. Otherwise, especially the mobile guest card will not be valid, which may result in the inspection card examiner charging an increased fare at the user's expense. Guest cards are non-transferable and are valid in conjunction with a valid photo ID of the person to whom the guest card is issued. The providers are entitled to verify identity by requesting a photo ID.

For travel groups, a group registration certificate will be created, and the name of the tour guide/one guest will be noted on the guest cards. In the case of a group registration certificate, fellow travelers can use the mobile guest card as a group ticket. The person to whom the mobile guest card is issued by name must be present in the transport medium of the VVO during the journey and be able to identify themselves accordingly.

The participating locations can acquire additional service partners whose benefits can only be claimed by guests staying overnight in the respective location. Communication and all agreements with these partners are the responsibility of the respective locations themselves.
