On one side is the Kneipp spa town of Bad Schandau, on the other the tranquil village of Krippen, one of the favorite places of the Romantic painter Caspar-David Friedrich. So begins this classic in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, a boat tour for a relaxing late afternoon. You sail up the Elbe between the imposing rock faces of the Schrammsteine and mountain ridges that lead up towards the Kaiserkrone and Zirkelstein. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the southernmost section of our cruising area, say hello to the Czech Republic and return to the heart of Saxon Switzerland after 90 minutes . The route can be adjusted depending on the water level of the Elbe.
