The region's nature in the smallest of spaces: Sachsenforst's forest experience center makes it possible! The area is not only used for educational and adventure activities offered by the operator, but can also be explored on your own at any time. Ideal for a short afternoon excursion, where the children can go on a carefree discovery tour themselves. If you still have some energy left afterwards, the short hike to the Waldbühne is a great option. However, as there are some differences in height to overcome, it is recommended that guests in wheelchairs are assisted by a companion or alternatively use an electric wheelchair puller. Where Bärs Grund ends approx. 200 m behind the open-air venue in a large rock cauldron, wheelchair users with particular mobility can also try to reach the "Wildpretskeller" cave (also known as the "Kleiner Kuhstall"). A romantic spot far away from the hustle and bustle of the well-known tourist destinations!

Directions
From the parking lot of the forest adventure center, we first have to tackle the slight incline of the access road. Following this, we now roll downhill for approx. 500 m on granite pavement, initially gently, later somewhat more steeply, until we turn left onto a wide path in the middle of the large left-hand bend. (Approx. 150 m before this, at the edge of the forest at the signpost to the panoramic view, a hiking trail also branches off to our destination, but this is very narrow and only suitable for experienced wheelchair users with an escort). We now follow the wide path slightly uphill - initially along a meadow, later through woodland - to a crossroads, where the previously mentioned alternative also ends. Instead of taking the shortest route again here, it is advisable to continue straight ahead along the wide path and only turn sharp left again 50 m later. The wide forest path on which we then find ourselves takes us straight to the Waldbühne (length: 500m, ascent: 35m). The surface is quite good (loam/forest soil with some fine gravel) and only a few roots disturb the ascent. This becomes a little steeper again shortly before the Waldbühne, with an average gradient of 4 - 5%.
From the Waldbühne, it is then only another 80 m or so to the Wildpretskeller, for which we soon have to leave the path. In dry weather, however, this should not be a problem, as the forest floor is also easy to ride on. The biggest challenge here is once again the incline, but you can easily reach the cave with the help of a pusher.
You then return to the starting point on the same route as the outward journey.
