Additional information

Between Königstein-Halbestadt and the spa town of Rathen, there is no Elbe Cycle Route on the right bank of the Elbe, which means you have to cross to the other side by ferry twice. The Königstein ferry is included in the Gästekarte Mobil and the Deutschlandticket. A bike ticket is required for bicycles and can be purchased on the ferry. The Rathen ferry is operated by the municipality. Tickets are also available here from the ferry staff.

Safety guidelines

The Elbe Cycle Route runs partly along roads with little traffic.
