Winter city walk
The winter city walk in Bad Schandau invites you to get to know the country and its people better. During the guided tour, old and new stories about the small town on the Elbe are told, linking the past and present in a lively way. The route leads through the picturesque old town, past buildings worth seeing and historic squares that bear witness to the city's rich heritage.
The tour begins with a visit to the "CDFriedrich inspires" exhibition. The immersive presentation brings the works of the famous Romantic artist Caspar David Friedrich to life in an impressive way and creates a special connection between art, light and emotion.
A highlight of the walk is the ride in the historic passenger elevator, which opens up a wide view over Bad Schandau, the Elbe valley and the striking Lilienstein table mountain.
The evening ends with a glass of mulled wine in a cozy atmosphere - an atmospheric end to a winter walk full of impressions.
