Saxon Steam Navigation (Dresden)
With nine originally preserved paddle steamers, Saxon Steam Navigation has the oldest and largest fleet of its kind in the world. Two modern saloon ships complete the ensemble. The ships have been stylishly restored and exude a special charm with the rhythmic beating of the paddle wheels and the sound of the steam engines.
The cruising area stretches from Seußlitz near Meissen to Děčín in Bohemia. Along the way, the ships pass through the Saxon Wine Route, Dresden with its Elbe castles and the landscapes of Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland.
The program includes scheduled trips, round trips and special trips with a thematic focus. The ships run regularly between well-known landing stages along the Upper Elbe.
