Struppen Castle
Struppen Castle dates back to a medieval complex from the 15th century and was converted into a residential castle in the 16th century. It later served as a manor, educational institution and residential home, among other things.
Today, the castle is looked after by the Struppen Castle Association, which is committed to preserving and revitalizing the grounds. The association organizes cultural events such as concerts, readings and exhibitions.
The large historic banqueting hall in particular is used for public and private events. Visitors can gain an insight into the architecture and history of the house at events. Visits are possible at weekends during the season and on request. Guided tours can be arranged individually.
