We are located in the overwhelming nature of the Saxon Switzerland and simply want to remain natural. We offer hiker-friendly accommodations that are clean, well-maintained, and simply cozy. We cook ourselves using local products, always with an eye on a balanced price-performance ratio. We gladly make an effort for our guests and try to fulfill many wishes.
The ZirkelsteinHaus is a typically rustic hiking and (former) youth hostel in Saxon Switzerland. Loved by children, hikers, and weekend vacationers. Our rooms offer sleeping accommodations for 2 to 8 people and are also equipped with seating and partially with washbasins. Enjoy your time in the cozy farmers' room, our large dining area, or on the terrace when the weather is nice.

From the motorway around Dresden • As you approach Dresden on the motorway, take the A17 towards Prague at Dresden-West junction. • Take the exit Pirna from the A17 and turn right onto the federal road 172. From Pirna • Always follow the signs for B172 towards Bad Schandau/Decin until you reach the entrance to Bad Schandau. • Shortly before crossing the Elbe bridge, follow the sign to Krippen/Reinhardtsdorf on the right. Here you will find our first directional sign on the right side of the road. • Now, pass by the Bad Schandau train station and continue along the main road. You will pass through the village of Krippen and continue along the road towards Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna. • After passing through the village of Reinhardtsdorf, you will immediately reach the district of Schöna. • Again, you should never leave the main road here. After about 2 kilometers through the village of Schöna, you will pass the country inn Zirkelstein on the left side of the road. • Turn left 50 meters after the Zirkelstein country inn. Follow the narrow road and then turn right into the field path to Zirkelstein. Your destination awaits you in about 800 meters in the woods directly at Zirkelstein.
