Jugendherberge Bad Schandau

The hiking and cycling-friendly youth hostel Bad Schandau has been in existence since 1923 and is located above the town of Bad Schandau amidst the bizarre rock formations of the "Saxon Switzerland" National Park. The former farm has been renovated in recent years and today serves as an ideal starting point for various tours through the charming and diverse region.

The youth hostel Bad Schandau offers 105 beds in single to five-bed rooms as well as four meeting rooms (1x28, 2x18, and 1x up to 100 places) and a dining room (up to 100 places).  Showers and toilets are located on the floors.

A hall, the farmer's parlor, a playroom, a table tennis room, as well as two television rooms and an outdoor area with a barbecue place are available for you.

Music groups can borrow a piano, guitar, and accordion. Play equipment is also available.

For cyclists, there is a lockable bicycle shed.
