Walk without significant ascents and descents on rarely used paths. The highlights of the route are the two viewpoints. They offer a magnificent view and are in an almost original condition, i.e., without railings and aids for walking. Therefore, assistance from a companion is necessary to reach the viewpoints.
The tour starts at the parking lot at the entrance to Waitzdorf. We first follow a path that passes the houses on the right and then sharply turns left. We continue straight along the forest edge, following the signposts to the viewpoint. There, the partly grass-covered hiking trail continues to the left and improves in quality. Soon you see the viewpoint on the right, which can be reached via a small branch. Now we follow the wide hiking trail, which shortly leads to the right to the second viewpoint, which is accessible via a natural access path. A companion is necessary here as well as at the first viewpoint. After returning from this viewpoint to the hiking trail, we follow it and finally reach the Mühlweg. This hiking trail meets the Waldtorweg after a few meters. At this junction, we go left and follow the Waldtorweg along the road to Waitzdorf. Again, we keep left here and finally end our little round at the parking lot of Waitzdorf.
