The route leads from Brtníky (formerly Zeidler) to the 610 m high Hrazený (Pirsken) - a basalt outcrop that belongs to a small granite mountain. From there, interesting paths lead to the (unfortunately destroyed) Pramen Mandavy (Mandau spring) and from there to the Vlčí hora (Wolfsberg), from which you can overlook the entire Elbe Sandstone Mountains and in the opposite direction across Lusatia to the Giant Mountains.

Directions
The hike starts at the Brtníky (Zeidler) stop and follows the red trail towards Sluknov (Schluckenau). Along the way, the path sometimes crosses a cattle pasture, where the entrances are equipped with spring latches. The cattle are more afraid of a person than vice versa, but they can still inspire some respect. Loud shouting usually scares them off, but it's best to pass by quietly.
At a trail junction with a restored cross, follow the green trail to the Hrazeny (Pirsken) and then along the green triangle to a viewpoint with a cross and summit register.
From the viewpoint, first follow a red triangle and later the red trail towards Brtniky, where after descending from the mountain, you must cross a meadow or pasture below the mountain down to the buildings.
You then reach the known junction with the cross again, from which you follow the green trail to the Prameny Mandavy (Mandau spring).
From Prameny Mandavy, follow the unmarked path first through the forest and then over the field towards Vlčí hora (Wolfsberg) - the hill you have in front of you the entire time. You pass over rarely used paths (thus sometimes very overgrown) to Panský (Herrnwalde) and to the local station.
From Panský station, continue along the tracks to Vlčí hora, following the yellow trail.
From Vlčí hora, descend again following the green trail and take a short detour to the left to the beautiful Verunčina studánka (Veronika spring).
At the bottom of the mountain, follow the red trail past the Kaple největší trojice (Trinity chapel) and along the Way of the Cross back to Brtniky station.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
Sturdy footwear and sufficient provisions are highly recommended as some paths are unpaved and there are no opportunities for refreshment.
Otherwise, you can enjoy the views even more with binoculars.
