Directions
The route starts at the Porschdorf stop, from where you first walk left along the street until you reach the Polenztal. Through this valley, you initially follow the red dot to the Waltersdorfer Mühle and then to the Polenztal tavern.
From the Hockstein tavern, you then follow the green line up the Hockstein through the Wolfsschlucht. At the bottom of the stairs, it is worth taking a look around the corner into the Hockstein cave – a layer fissure cave beneath the rock massif.
Once on top of the Hockstein, after enjoying the views, continue following the green line towards Amselsee – Kurort Rathen.
When you arrive in Rathen, cross the Elbe with the help of the ferry and keep right to the train station, where the route ends.
