The Rear Saxon Switzerland, with its unique location and variety of offerings, invites visitors to enjoy excursions, hikes, and nature experiences, as well as to discover crafts, tradition, history, and culture.

Sebnitz is idyllically situated at the northern transition from the Elbe Sandstone Mountains to the Lusatian Highlands, directly on the German-Czech border. The city offers ideal conditions for a varied vacation, not only thanks to this exposed location in the national park region. In the town, which is primarily known as the "Silk Flower City", everything is still dedicated to flowers today. During a tour of the demonstration manufactory "Deutsche Kunstblume Sebnitz", visitors can experience the fascinating tradition of this traditional craft, which has been at home here since 1834. In the Kräutervitalbad, those seeking relaxation can unwind and be thoroughly pampered in both summer and winter. Model railway enthusiasts will get their money's worth in the TILLIG Model Railway Gallery.

Several well-known towns in the Kirnitzschtal as well as Hinterhermsdorf have been incorporated into Sebnitz.

Guest Card Saxon Switzerland mobil

As an overnight guest, one receives the guest card mobil. Besides great discounts at a variety of leisure facilities, the guest card simultaneously serves as a ticket for the use of public transport in all tariff zones of the Upper Elbe Transport Association (VVO) in Saxon Switzerland. Thus, the guest card mobil is the ticket for all bus, train, and most ferry connections in Pirna (70), Bad Gottleuba (71), Bad Schandau (72), and Neustadt (73), as well as for the Kirnitzschtal Railway and the cross-border Tisá Line 2017.

The brochure ERLEBNISSE Sächsische Schweiz provides information on special offers for guest card holders: All participating establishments are marked with the guest card logo. The brochure is provided upon arrival along with the guest card or at the Tourist Information.
