Master caramel candy manufacturer

Handmade sweets based on a traditional recipe have been produced in Stadt Wehlen since 2012. The Meister Karamellus candy manufactory uses only natural ingredients and offers a variety of flavors such as fruit, caramel or herbs.

Daily demonstrations allow visitors to watch the candy being made. They show how hot sugar mass is turned into small sweets by pulling, shaping and cutting. The show takes place several times a day and is aimed at visitors of all ages.

The sweets are available in jars or bags in the adjoining store. Custom-made products are also possible, for example with a company logo or as a gift for special occasions.

The manufactory is located directly on the market square and is a popular destination for families, school classes and excursion groups. Its location in the historic old town makes it easily accessible - on foot, by bike or by train.
