The smallest museum in Saxony is dedicated to a lime tree and owes its name to the famous pianist Clara Schumann.
The smallest museum in Saxony can be found in Schmorsdorf in the Müglitz Valley. It gets its name from the large lime trees that tower above the little house. Inside the museum, visitors can learn more about lime trees, the history of the village and, of course, about Clara Schumann (wife of composer Robert Schumann).
The museum, which was visited several times by the famous pianist Clara Schumann, is open to visitors at all times and can be entered free of charge.
