The adventure world in Hohwald near Sebnitz shows the history of gold and mineral extraction.
The exhibition shows the history of gold prospecting in Upper Lusatia on around 150 m². It is complemented by a variety of impressive minerals.

The oldest documented gold mines in Saxony were located here.

Visitors can pan for gold themselves or take part in guided tours to learn about the geological and natural history aspects of the Hohwald. The offer is aimed at families, school classes and groups.
