Our holiday house is about 200m from the National Park Saxon Switzerland, located directly at the Malerweg, one of Germany's most beautiful hiking trails. Its location is perfect for relaxed days and weeks without any trouble. The attractive hiking opportunities to the famous Bastei area with its bizarr rock formations start right in front of the doorstep. Take a steam boat trip on the oldest fleet of such boats in the word, ride your bike at the Elbe Cycle Path or take part in a guided hiking and climbing tour.
The infrastructure in Lohmen is good, shopping facilities as a bakery, butchery and supermarket can be easily reached after a short walk.
