Clown Show

When Locci and Miss Fredl meet, sparks fly, and the corners of their mouths curl upward all on their own. Locci and Miss Fredl come from an old clown dynasty. Locci’s grandfather was a clown, as were Fredl’s great-grandfather and father—because they’re related: father and daughter!
Fröken Fredl—known locally as Fräulein Fredl—performs with rough, folksy humor in Norwegian, and Locci chimes in with his two cents.

Suitable for children ages 4 and up
Duration: 45 to 60 min.

About Wolfgang Lasch:
Wolfgang Lasch has been performing in Kaspertheater since the early 1980s. He studied historical Kasper scripts and took on the roles of: witch, devil, robber, magician, and “Polizip’l”—as he calls the police officer—filtered out what was still relevant from the texts, combined it with the children’s current lives, and thus carried on this tradition
of puppetry. Laschi’s Kasper theater is rough and unpolished, but not brutal or even vulgar. Wit in both words and action dominates and places the “punchy” Kasper arguments exactly where they belong.
