Puppet Theater for Children

Three little pigs lead a fun-filled piggy life. But what if the big bad wolf comes along? He’s hungry for roast pork. So each little pig builds a house—one made of straw, one made of wood, and one made of stone. Lutz Männel performs this well-known fairy tale in his own playful style. In the middle of the show, there’s also the Norwegian story of the troll and the three goats, “Brausewind,” with audience participation for viewers of all ages.

5 mouth-operated puppets – 3 fabric goats

Duration: approx. 40 min.
Suitable for ages 3 and up

About Männel’s Lutziges Puppet Theater:
Someone must have placed a talent for puppetry in my bassinet, because ever since childhood, I’ve been making Kasper and his friends dance on stage. I sewed my first puppets at age 18, and my first play dates from that time: “Kasper, the Devil, and the Gallows Rope,” as well as his first stage, built from aluminum tent poles, bamboo sticks, and spray-can spotlights. He has been working as a freelance puppeteer since November 1996.
