It is one of the annual highlights of the region and an integral part of the summer: the Kirnitzschtalfest. Celebrations take place throughout the valley. Included are: the Kirnitzschtalbahn depot, the Ostrauer Mühle campsite with the Flößerstube, the Hotel Forsthaus, the Lichtenhainer Wasserfall, Felsenmühle, Buschmühle & Ottendorfer Hütte restaurants. Visitors can expect live music, a stilt walk act, acrobatic shows, DJ beats, face painting for children, pony rides and balloon magic.
Historic train rides and a specially arranged shuttle service ensure a relaxed arrival and departure.
