Puppet Show for Children

Kasperl comes home from school and is supposed to do his homework right away. At least, that’s what his grandmother thinks. But Kasperl is much more in the mood for adventure, so he sneaks off into the woods with his dog Lumpi.

Find out why Kasperl ends up finding reading and math quite useful in this funny Kasperl play.

Suitable for ages 4 and up
Duration: approx. 45 min.

About Kati’s Kasperl Theater:
She learned to perform as Kasperl from Markus Appel at the “Würzburger Kasperhaus.” After her “apprenticeship” there, she was so “infected with Kasperl fever” (she was actually a pediatric nurse at the time) that, after several internships—including at the “Augsburger Puppenkiste”— with the Hohenstein Kasperl puppeteer Klaus Gräwe, at the Hof Lebherz in Warmsen, and at the Figurentheaterkolleg in Bochum, she founded the traveling theater “Kati’s Kasperl Theater” in 2004. The stage, props, and puppets are all handmade, and she writes all the plays herself.
