Kati’s Kasperl Theater presents: “Kasperl Goes for a Walk in the Woods”
Kasperl finds it too noisy everywhere: his grandmother is vacuuming inside the house, and the neighbor is mowing his lawn in the garden. So Kasperl decides to move into the forest with his lounge chair. There, he makes an exciting new friend. A new Kasperl adventure begins…
Suitable for ages 4 and up
Duration: approx. 45 min.
About Kati’s Kasperl Theater:
She learned to perform as Kasperl from Markus Appel at the “Würzburger Kasperhaus.” After her “apprenticeship” there, she was so “infected with Kasperl fever” (she was actually a pediatric nurse at the time) that, after several internships—including at the “Augsburger Puppenkiste”— with the Hohenstein Kasperl puppeteer Klaus Gräwe, at the Hof Lebherz in Warmsen, and at the Figurentheaterkolleg in Bochum, she founded the traveling theater “Kati’s Kasperl Theater” in 2004. The stage, props, and puppets are all handmade, and she writes all the plays herself.
