From Easter to the end of October, the Evangelical Lutheran St. Johanniskirche Bad Schandau offers a guided tour of the church every Monday at 4 pm. Visitors gain insights into the history of the church, its impressive architecture and the artistically designed details that characterize the church interior. The church is open daily from 9 am until dusk. Access is via the side portal through the vicarage. Group tours are also possible outside of regular times by prior arrangement. The guided tours offer an opportunity to experience history, faith and culture in an impressive space.

By public transportation:
Train: Take the S-Bahn line S1 or regional trains to Bad Schandau Nationalpark station.
From the station you can take the Elbe ferry to the town center in a few minutes.
Bus: Travel to the bus stops "Bad Schandau Elbkai" or "Bad Schandau Markt", from there it is a short walk to the church.
On foot: From the ferry pier, a short walk leads through the historic old town to the church on the market square.
By car:
Approach via the B172 from Pirna or Schmilka.
