High up on the slope, nestled in the rocks of the Elbe Valley, lies our house Abendsonne – your very own box seat in the core area of the Saxon Switzerland National Park.
Those who vacation with us love the mountains, hiking, and active movement in the fresh air. Just as one earns every summit step by step, a characteristic slope path with steps leads you up to our house. It is the perfect little sporty start for your active vacation, which is immediately rewarded upon arrival: with absolute quiet, fresh air, and an incomparable panoramic view over the Elbe Valley and the medieval-looking town of Wehlen.
If you simply want to enjoy your vacation or need a quick change of scenery, the perfect contrast program awaits right at your doorstep. Just a six-minute walk away and already visible from our terrace lies the idyllic outdoor swimming pool Wehlen. It is the ideal place for hot summer days, carefree family vacations, or a delightfully lazy end to the day. For an extra dose of relaxation, a small, in-house sauna is available for you. The terraced garden and the entire grounds are intentionally left wild romantic, close to nature, and lively. Modern deck boards in the garden invite you to linger, while original slope sculptures and real art in the house provide a particularly special, creative touch. Your four-legged companions are also part of the perfect vacation for us: dogs are warmly welcomed!
The perfect group and seminar domicile: Our house Abendsonne is ideally bookable as a complete house for larger groups! In the community room of more than 30 square meters, your celebrations can be wonderfully organized. A good sound system and an in-house guitar create the right atmosphere. On cooler days and evenings, an electric fireplace provides cozy warmth. You enjoy plenty of space for community on the terrace areas and in the salon, while at the same time every guest retains their own charming retreat in the total of 7 apartments.
The house is regularly bookable for groups of up to 16 people.
