Our holiday home BLOGSTUBE is centrally located amidst the national parks of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland at an altitude of about 400 m in Hinterhermsdorf, idyllically situated directly below the famous village church. Whether you spend just 3 days, one week, or several weeks with us, you will enjoy relaxed and eventful days in a luxurious, monument-protected timber-framed house from 1796 that has been renovated using traditional building techniques. With the renovation completed in 2024, we have created a spacious, comfortable, and modern accommodation for 8 people over approximately 150 sqm of living space in the heart of these spectacular landscapes. The house is equipped with everything that will make your holiday relaxing and restorative.

You can reach the vacation home BLOGSTUBE by car, where you can park up to 2 cars directly at the house and use the wallbox. Alternatively, you can reach us by train and bus. For example, you can comfortably travel with DB Fernverkehr to Bad Schandau station. From there, a ferry and hiking bus take you to Hinterhermsdorf in about 40 minutes. The vacation home is centrally located in the village center, about 100 meters from the final stop. During your stay, you can use the guest card to travel almost all public transport in the entire district for free. This way, you can conveniently leave your car right at the house for all your tours.
