Directions
The route starts at the Porschdorf stop and initially follows the red dot through the Polenztal to the Waltersdorfer Mühle. From the Waltersdorfer Mühle, it continues via Mühlweg to Waltersdorf, from where you then follow the green dot via Liliensteinstraße to the Lilienstein.
Upon reaching the Lilienstein, follow Kirchweg to the northern ascent of the Lilienstein, which is somewhat challenging. On the way, you can make a short detour to the left via a path to a small interesting cave at the foot of the Lilienstein.
Once on top of the Lilienstein, it is best to follow the paths along the south side with many viewpoints to the mountain hut on the Lilienstein.
From the mountain hut, continue down past the west viewpoint, from which you can look over the Vorderer Sächsische Schweiz to the south.
Then, go back a bit to the descent on the south side and descend over the flat area down to Königstein to the ferry on the Elbe, where the route ends.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
Some refreshments in the form of drinks and a small snack as well as sturdy footwear are recommended. Otherwise, you can enjoy a wonderful stop at the Waltersdorfer Mühle as well as in Waltersdorf itself and of course at the mountain hut on the Lilienstein. (Please note the opening hours, especially in the off-season!)
Binoculars are also recommended, as they allow you to experience the views even better.
